We are a group of women from Limerick and the surrounding communities who have joined together to donate our time and resources to help build, serve, improve and enjoy the community in which we live.

In early 1890, women's clubs throughout the country attended a convention in New York City and there the General Federation of Women's Clubs was born.
Since its founding in 1913, GFWC Research Club of Limerick has encouraged women to improve their skills, expand their rights and apply their abilities to society's challenges.
The Research Club of Limerick meets the first Tuesday of every month, with the exception of January, February, July & August. Meetings are held in the parish hall of St. Matthew's Church. In addition to reviewing club business, each meeting includes a designated program, a message from the club historian, an inspirational reading, and refreshments.
